UMW Sports Press Release: The Montana Western Football Team defeated the MSU-Northern Lights at home this afternoon as the Bulldogs scored 66 unanswered points. The 66-0 victory was the largest margin of victory the Bulldogs have had over the Lights since the series began between the two teams. "Proud of the guys for how they prepared themselves. They knew that if they did the right thing then they should win the game. They prepared for them with respect and a lot of respect goes out to Coach Souers and his team. Those boys are fighters and warriors and they certainly did not disrespect themselves on the field today. It feels good to win your last game of the year on Vigilante and I am really happy the seniors got to go home with a win." Head Coach Ryan Nourse said after the win. How it Happened The first half saw the Bulldog offense put up 42 points, 28 of which were in the second quarter alone. The Bulldog defense began by forcing the Lights to a three and out on the opening drive of the game. The Bulldogs answered with a 71-yard touchdown rush by Reese Neville on the following drive to put the first points of the game up on the board. The Bulldogs would then trade three and outs with the Lights before a 10 play and 68-yard scoring drive that ended in the first of two touchdown passes for Jon Jund to Isaiah Thomas . The Bulldogs went into the second quarter following a sack for a loss of 10 yards by Reese Artz and Tanner Harrell . With a 14-0 lead, the Bulldogs forced the Lights to punt just after the start of the quarter. The offense then drove down the field once again, resulting in Neville's second touchdown rush of the game. Harrell and Cooper Cleveringa combined for a sack on the following drive that led to a loss of four yards. Jund threw his second touchdown pass to Thomas with 7:38 left in the half to bring the score to 28-0. Another defensive three and out fueled an offensive drive that culminated in a Jund touchdown rush. Just before the end of the half, Colten McPhee broke out on a 68-yard touchdown rush that put the Bulldogs up 42-0 going into the half. The Bulldogs took almost eight minutes off the clock on the opening drive of the second half before Jund rushed it in for a 10-yard touchdown run. With the score 49-0, Jaden Amasiu picked off Lights quarterback Kaymen Cureton and returned it for a quick pick-six with 6:50 left in the third quarter. The Bulldogs would go into the fourth quarter up 56-0. The first drive of the fourth quarter started out with McPhee rushing it in for a 7-yard touchdown run and the last Bulldog touchdown of the game. Gus Hanson intercepted a pass from Lights quarterback Kaymen Cureton and returned it for 23 yards to put the Bulldogs in great field position that would allow John Mears to make a 37-yard field goal, which sealed the 66-0 victory over the MSU-Northern Lights. Notables The Bulldogs came eight yards short of breaking the single game total offensive yards record with 646 yards. They were successful in scoring touchdowns on 9 out of their 12 drives of the game. Jund was 11 for 19 passing as he threw for 201 yards, and 2 passing touchdowns. He also rushed for 49 yards and had two rushing touchdowns. Bulldog special teams saw some standout performances as Mears went 9 for 9 on point after attempts for the Bulldogs, along with making a 37-yard field goal attempt in the fourth quarter. Angel Navarette also totaled 600 yards on 11 kickoffs, averaging 54.5 yards per attempt. Neville and McPhee combined for 251 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns. Thomas led the Bulldogs with two receiving touchdowns and 57 total receiving yards. The Bulldog defense totaled 53 tackles in the game, eight tackles for loss and two sacks. Amasiu and Hanson each had an interception in the game, with Amasiu turning his interception into a pick-six. Up Next The Bulldogs will be on the road for their final two games of the season. They will face off with Montana Tech at 1 PM MST in Butte, Mont. The last time the two teams saw each other this season, the Orediggers won 33-24.

An expansion in 1906 filled the need to open a nursing school that could help accommodate the growing workloads that many staff faced. The old building was completely rebuilt and remodeled in the 1940’s. In 1962, Old St. James Hospital became abandoned as operations moved into the Butte Memorial Hospital. Businesses moved in and out until the 1980’s, when the building became apartments. Access to the Old. St. James Hospital was rarely ever granted, as it served as storage since the early 2000’s. Seven UMW rodeo team members are set to compete this weekend in Kalispell, Montana, October 27-29 at the Northern Rodeo Association (NRA) finals. The top ten finalists from the season's NRA rodeos compete in the final competition. The event is being held at Majestic Valley Arena with performance times set for 7:00 p.m. each night of the event. “Rodeo is one of the biggest networking groups in Montana, and your competitors become part of your family,” senior Bulldog Rodeo Athlete Garret Yeager said. “Our coach, JT Robbins , is really focused on the individual needs of everyone on the rodeo team, and the lessons we learn carry with us as we compete in all types of rodeos, including the NRA finals. The Montana news paper company, Yellowstone Newspapers, which is made up of 13 newspapers, has been sold to a company in Minnesota. The Adams Publishing Group purchased Yellowstone Newspapers, which started with the Miles City Star in 1957. The two companies announced the purchase on Monday, October 25th. The deal includes these publications: The Laurel Outlook, The Big Horn County News, The Carbon County News, The Livingston Enterprise, The Glendive Ranger-Review, The Lewistown News-Argus, The Dillon Tribune, The Big Timber Pioneer, The Stillwater County News, The Terry Tribune, The (Forsyth) Independent Press, and The Judith Basin Press. Adams already owns newspapers in Bozeman and Belgrade. The deal was reached last Friday and the sale is expected to be finalized on Nov. 1st. The full press release can be found here .

The University of Montana Western men's basketball team is on their way to starting the 2022-23 season this week after a third-place finish in Frontier conference play last season. The Bulldogs will start their season with a road stand in California where they will face Cal-Maritime and Menlo College. After going 18-12 on their regular season, the Bulldogs lost in the semifinals of the Frontier Conference tournament to Montana Tech by only two points. In a preseason poll of Frontier Conference men's basketball coaches, Carroll College was the pick to win the 2022-2023 league title, with the Bulldogs coming in just behind Montana Tech in third overall, claiming 17 total votes. "I feel really good about this year's team. Only losing 2 players from last year's roster gives us a ton of experience coming back". Head Coach Mike Larsen stated. "With Ky, Jamal, Tanner, Michael, Jok, and Colter all coming back after a great summer, they are poised to push our young guys to be ready to compete early on in the season. We also have redshirts from last season that had great summers and I think they are going to really help us with our depth this year. I am really excited about this group they have come in this year with the right mindset and now it's time to put in on the floor and see what they can accomplish." Preseason Outlook The Bulldogs are returning all but two from last season's squad. The Bulldogs lost All-America Honorable Mention Jalen Hodges , the 6-4 senior from Duluth, Ga. who started in 26 of 29 games last season. He averaged 16.1 points a game, shot 52 percent from the field, averaged 5.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game. The Bulldogs also graduated second team all-conference senior Max Clark who continued on to become a two-time all-conference player for the Bulldogs that averaged 14.1 points per game, 5.6 rebounds per game, and shot 47.9% from the floor during his senior season. Of the returners, the Bulldogs are returning second team all-conference guard Jamal Stephenson . Jamal was voted preseason all-conference by a poll of the conference coaches. Last season, Stephenson played in 28 games and started in 23. He averaged 16.6 points per game with a total of 345 points on the season. He shot 36% from the three-point line with a total of 54 three-pointers made on the season. He led the conference with an 87.0% free throw percentage and was a three-time backcountry player of the game. "Jamal had a really strong showing his junior year and has come back with a very solid mindset. He has the ability to lead this team every night and I think we will see that this year." Larsen said. The Bulldogs are also returning brothers Tanner Haverfield and Michael Haverfield . Last season, Tanner played in 28 games, starting in 27, while averaging 8.0 points per game. He shot 41.2% from the three-point line, averaged 4.4 rebounds per game, and 2.1 assists per game. Michael averaged 8.0 points per game as he shot 43.7% from the field. He also shot 44.7% from the three-point line and picked up 2.1 rebounds per game. "Tanner has been our leader for four years and I don't see that changing this season. I think he will embrace his roll and continue to lead our team in any way he can. Michael is poised to have a great year after a solid 'Freshmen' campaign. He is one of the most consistent players in our program and I think this is going to be his best year yet." Larsen said. Ky Kouba and Jok Jok will be returning this season. Last season, Kouba was a true freshman who played in 29 games, starting in eight. He led the Bulldogs from the three-point line as he shot 46.0% on the season and 48.8% from the field. Jok averaged 5.6 points per game, tallied 30 blocks, and 155 total rebounds last season for an average of 5.3 per game. "Ky is another guy that had a great year last season and has come back stronger and in better shape. He now knows what college basketball is about and I think he will have an even better sophomore year. Jok finished the season last year as our most important defender with an ability to block every shot. He also came back ready to compete and help our team this season." Larsen said. The Bulldogs were able to ink three transfers. Brenton Woods joins the Bulldogs as a transfer from Central Arizona College and a 2019 graduate of Dominguez High School. He is a 6'2" guard that averaged 16.1 points per game last season. Woods was fifth overall in the ACCAC (NJCAA) in free throw percentage (84.6%), sixth in three-point percentage (40.2%), and tenth in three pointers (68-169). He also ranked fifth in the conference in total assists (149). He is an explosive guard that will add to the 2022-23 squad. Christian Pitcher joins the Bulldogs this season. Pitcher is a 2019 graduate of Berean Christian Academy in Walnut Creek, Calif. who joins the Bulldogs as a transfer from Chabot College where he averaged nine points per game and five rebounds per game last season. During the 2019-20 season at Lewis & Clark College, Pitcher averaged 7.3 points per game and had a total of 51 rebounds on the season. At Berean Christian, Pitcher averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds during his high school campaign and earned first team all-league honors three years in a row. Standing at 6'7", Pitcher will bring size and athleticism to the forward position for the Bulldogs. Jaden Graham joins the Bulldogs and returns to his home state as he transfers from The Master's University (Calif.). Graham is a 6'5 redshirt sophomore guard and forward. Last season at The Master's University, Graham averaged 5.6 points per game, shot 40.2% from the field, 81.0% from the free throw line, and totaled 55 rebounds, 14 assists, and 7 blocks. "Brenton is a great point guard that can find his teammates any time they come open. He is also a great scorer and I think he compliments our returners really nicely. Christian is a really solid player that gives us some much-needed size and strength at our forward position. He the ability to stretch the floor as well as move around and use his skills to score in other ways. Jaden is another really good transfer to add to our team this year. He will give us a lot of length and athleticism to our guard position." Larsen said. Deontavius Smith , Jacob Ankeny , and Jacksen Burckley are freshman this season and will look to also contribute a lot this season. The Bulldogs open their season this Saturday Oct. 29 on the road as they will be facing off with California Maritime Academy at 5:30 PM hosted by Menlo College. They will also take on Menlo College on Sunday Oct. 30 to cap off the trip to California. The Bulldog's first home game will be on Nov. 11 against Dickinson State for the Western Classic. Beaverhead County Search and Rescue News Submitted by: Mel Rice-Public Relations The Beaverhead Search and Rescue had a very busy opening weekend of the general hunting season. It started with a call out the day before the season started, Friday October 21 at 3:00 PM. A 67 year old California hunter was out scouting and did not return to camp. He was 4 hours overdue. The individual was diabetic, and had high blood pressure. These things always add to the urgency of the incident. He had no idea about Montana nor the area he was camped in and going to hunt. Before search parties reached the area, the lost individual had been located and was safe. Search teams returned to the building. Incident #2 - On Saturday October 22 at 1:43 PM the BVHD S&R was called out for a rescue of a hunter out of Cascade, Montana who had sustained serious injuries in a horse accident. The horse had fallen and rolled on the individual. The location of this rescue was 2.5 miles from the trail head in the East Fork of Blacktail Creek WSA. With adverse weather conditions at best this would turn into an all-night affair. Because of the conditions any opportunity to use Life Flight services or Two Bear services was out of the question. With low clouds, 8 inches of snow on the ground and still snowing, it would turn into an old fashion human carry out of the injured party. The first rescue teams headed up the trail at 5:50 PM on foot. Members Brad Wagner and Tara Remely had an ambulance with medical personnel Shelly King and Shara King as close to the scene as possible. This turned out to be six miles from the accident. S&R member Shane Puyear and his son Parker were the first to arrive on scene at 6:30 PM. When they arrived, other members of the hunting party were with the injured hunter and had built a fire and were keeping him as comfortable as possible. Parker was given the immediate task of gathering fire wood from the area to keep everyone as warm as possible until the remaining rescue teams arrived with necessary equipment to transport the individual out. Shane was evaluating the immediate situation and started assessing the man’s injuries. Upon arrival of the other teams; Alex Dunn, Julia Clark, Evan Helle, and Wes Helle, at 8:42 PM with medical bag and the ”E-Mule”, further assessment of injuries was completed and the individual was packaged on a litter and loaded onto the “E-Mule”. The long 4 plus hour trek out to a waiting ambulance began at 9:15 PM. Kolby Malesich and Steve Mock were heading in on the trail to assist the extrication team and met up with them at 11:48 PM. While coming out with the injured man they encountered other hunters that were trying to get out of the back country that were in need of assistance as well. It was turning into a multiple rescue incident with the injured individual being the priority. The “E-Mule” is an electric two man cart for extricating victims out of the back country. But because of the heavy wet deep snow conditions the “E-Mule” was not able to operate quite as well as it was designed. However, it did prove to be very effective in providing stability for the litter and during resting time for the rescuers. They used it the entire way out. There had to be 3 feet of snow on the ground when they left the accident site, diminishing to approximately 2 feet as they got closer to the trailhead. It was extremely slow going because of the conditions, terrain, etc. They would move in short spurts, 10 to 20 yards at a time and then rest. The conditions were very undesirable; not only because of the snow but also the wind and pitch dark conditions. With lots of other hunting camps in the area and the rescue team becoming totally exhausted, Tara Remely went around to all the camps and asked for assistance in getting the victim out. Many hunters got up out of their nice warm comfort zones and headed up the trail to assist with the last tedious mile. This is one of the hardest parts of the whole trail. Once back to the” trail head” at 1:30 AM, the injured party was moved to the ATV rescue buggy and taken the final 2 miles to the waiting ambulance and medical crew. The victim was turned over to medical personnel at the ambulance at 2:20 AM. After arriving in Dillon, the injured man was life flighted by fixed wing to Missoula where he is reported in fair condition. He sustained a brain bleed, broken back, broken neck, broken nose, and broken ribs. Thanks to the dedication of your Beaverhead Search and Rescue this individual will live to see another day. The incident was called with all S&R members back in town at 5:00 AM. This was a very intense and time consuming event. Other S&R members that were at the trail head taking care of other necessary business involved with this rescue were: Brian Vinson, Jennifer McKay, Jason Ericksen, Kolby Malesich, Brad Wagner, Tara Remely, and Steve Mock. Non-members assisting were: Parker Puyear and Wes Helle This was a great team effort and consequently saved a gentleman’s life. Those working the command center for all of the happenings that eventful evening were: Lawrence Morrisroe, Park Scott, and Clint Rouse. . When the Blacktail horse incident was completed at 5:00 AM Sunday morning and the injured party was on his way to Barrett Memorial Hospital, members involved in this all night ordeal wanted to get home as well. Because of conditions at that time it was decided to leave equipment trailers and other equipment at the trailhead until later that day after it had hopefully quit snowing and there was day light to work in. So later that morning a refreshed group of members returned to get everything off the mountain. It just made sense not to fight with all that when everyone was exhausted. Kudos to those who went in later that day to get the equipment left behind. The roads were horrible, the snow was deep, and with the mass exodus of hunters trying to get out of there, it was a zoo. With us trying to get up the East Fork on the narrow road with snow piled up on either side, and with hunters trying to get out on the same road, it made for lots of traffic jams and stuck vehicles resulting in another long day. All the trailers and vehicles made it home. Those making the trek back to gather equipment and vehicles were Brian Vinson, Mark Smith, Clint Rouse, Shane Puyear, Parke Scott, Jennifer McKay, Tater McKay, Steve Mock, and Donnie Keltz. Incident #3 - At 9:46 PM another “InReach” SOS call came in for a 59 year old hunter from Whitefish. The six gentlemen camped in the Selway Creek area up Bloody Dick Creek reported one of their party had not returned to camp. The Search and Rescue managers at the building who were attending the horse accident rescue, paged for more members. Tommy Goins, Cody Schnee, Cole Cottom, John Helle, Parke Scott and Clint Rouse were deployed to search for the lost individual. Shortly after deployment the reporting party called back to S&R command that they had found their missing party member. It is with sad and sympathetic hearts that we report the passing of this individual. Apparently he had a heart attack. Clint Rouse and Parke Scott returned to the command center to continue assisting with the other rescue. The remaining team members continued on to the hunter’s camp to assist with retrieval of the deceased man. It turned out to be a long night for them as well having to wait for the Under Sheriff/coroner David Wendt to arrive and complete things they need to do in this type of situation. Our condolences go out to the friends and family of this young man. Incidents #4 & 5- On Sunday morning October 23, we were informed of two other “InReach” SOS hits that turned out to be nothing other than false alarms. Thank the Lord for small favors. The season is just beginning. With more weather predicted to come in on Wednesday, please make sure you are prepared for any number of different situations. Also, make sure you have all necessary equipment for your vehicles. Chains are an absolute must for the conditions we are experiencing now. And I doubt things will improve anytime in the near future. It should be noted at this time that all the searches/rescues during this time frame and the last 6 months have come in from reporting parties that are in the area of the lost/hurt individual rather than from family members who are at home and don’t have a clue about the missing/injured person’s whereabouts. From Beaverhead County Sheriff's Facebook Page On 10/22/22 Jimmie “Luke” Snaric, age 34, from Cascade, Montana was arrested after being involved in what was reported as an active shooter at the Jackson Hot Springs Lodge in Jackson, MT. Snaric is alleged to have discharged a firearm into the Lodge, where people were sleeping and cleaning up the bar from a physical fight which Snaric started. Snaric was asked to leave the bar. He returned to his cabin, gathered a firearm, and returned to shoot aimlessly into the Lodge and the surrounding area. Snaric forced his way into two occupied cabins while in possession of his pistol. Snaric continued shooting aimlessly and wandering around the area carrying his pistol until he was apprehended by Law Enforcement. Snaric was arrested and charged with the following: 15 Counts of 45-5-213MCA Assault with a Weapon, 2 Counts of 45-6-204MCA Aggravated Burglary, 2 Counts of 45-5-207MCA Criminal Endangerment, and 1 Count of 45-6-101MCA Criminal Mischief (Damage exceeding $1,500). In total Snaric is alleged to have committed 20 Felony charges during this incident. He had his initial appearance in Justice Court today (10/24). No plea was entered as felonies must be adjudicated in District Court. His bond was set at $250,000. He is awaiting his initial appearance in District Court. David Wendt Undersheriff

The NAIA released its week eight Football National Player of the Week honors. Montana Western's Jon Jund (Spring Creek, Nev./R-SR) has been named National Offensive Player of the Week. This is the first time a Bulldog football player has been named NAIA National Player of the Week since Joe Caicedo won National Defensive Player of the Week in 2019. Jund, a 6'1 quarterback, had an exceptional weekend with a season-high 354 passing yards in the victory over the previously undefeated College of Idaho Yotes. He threw four touchdown passes, caught one in the air for a 16-yard touchdown reception, and rushed for 48 yards. He also rushed it in for a successful two-point conversion and averaged 10.1 yards per attempt while passing. Jund completed 26 out of 35 attempts, threw his longest pass of the season for 63 yards, and had his first receiving touchdown of his career. "Jon is a high-level competitor and he stepped his game up. He played the best he has in his career." Head Football Coach Ryan Nourse stated. Jon is the second player to receive NAIA National Player of the Week honors under Head Coach Ryan Nourse .

Bulldog football, cross country, and volleyball teams earned four ERCK Hotels/Frontier Conference Player of the Week awards this week. Kaylee Fritz , a 5-foot-7 sophomore setter from Kalispell, Mont. Montana Western lost 3-0 to Carroll College in a Frontier Conference match. Despite the loss, Fritz averaged 12.23 assists in the game, as well as a serving ace and five digs. With her 37 assists, she joins the 1,000 assists club in just her sophomore season. Jon Jund , a 6-foot-1, 190 lbs, senior quarterback from Spring Creek, Nev. was voted conference player of the week after his impressive performance in the home victory over the previously undefeated No. 7 ranked College of Idaho. Jund was 26 of 35 for 354 yards, four touchdowns and one interception. He also caught a 16-yard touchdown reception, rushed for 48 yards, and rushed for a successful two-point conversation on the way to the team's 40-35 victory. Tanner Harrell , a 6-foot-1, 220 lbs, junior defensive lineman from Shepherd, Mont. was voted conference player of the week after Montana Western's 40-35 upset home win over No. 7 and previously unbeaten College of Idaho. Harrell recorded two crucial quarterback sacks on College of Idaho's final drive of the game. The second sack came on fourth down and sealed the Bulldogs upset victory over the Yotes. Jonathan Harrison was selected as the Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Men's Cross-Country Runner of the Week. Harrison is a senior from Missoula, Mont. Harrison finished 19th out of 214 runners in the 8K at the prestigious NAIA Great Lakes Challenge in Grand Rapids, Mich. His time of 25:04.0 is a new Montana Western record.

J.M. Peck, President of SW Counties Farm Bureau, representing Beaverhead, Madison, Silverbow and Jefferson counties, will be the guest speaker at the Rotary meeting on Wednesday, October 26th at noon. He will be speaking about the Farm Bureau and agriculture in Montana. The UMW Bulldogs took to a soggy Vigilante field on Saturday against the College of Idaho Yotes. The rain let up just in time for the game but the constant drizzle Dillon was getting all morning left the field with less than ideal playing conditions. The Bulldogs came out to play and to prove they still had the championship team we saw last year. Jon Jund threw for 354 yards and four touchdowns. Jund threw a 30 yard touchdown pass to Trey Mounts with 11 minutes left in the game to put the Bulldogs ahead and give Western the win. Other highlights of the game include: Trey Mounts finished with nine receptions for 179 yards. Neville had 114 rushing yards on 13 carries, and Colton McPhee had a touchdown for the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs’ record is now 4-4 overall and 3-4 in the Frontier. C of I is now 6-1 overall and 6-1 in the league.

Kids lined up at the starting line today in the rain for the 8th annual Pumpkin Run held at Chris Craft Park. The run was started eight years ago by County Commissioner Mike McGinley as a political stunt and ended up turning into an annual event. Saturday's weather was overcast and a light drizzle, but that didn't stop a group of determined kids from finding the right pumpkin. At Noon when the lunch time siren blew the kids were off to get to that one pumpkin that was calling their name. After a quick minute all the kids were leaving the field with a pumpkin in tow.

The Dillon Beaver football team took on the Ronan Chiefs under the lights of vigilante field on Friday night. The Beavers came out to play putting points on the board quickly. The beavers would continue to dominate throughout the game on both defense and offense. They would end the game shutting out Ronan with a 42 to 0 win.

From The Beaverhead County Sheriff Facebook Page: In the early morning hours of October 22nd, 2022 around 0103 hours, the Beaverhead County 911 Center received multiple 911 calls regarding an active shooter at the Jackson Hot Springs Lodge in Jackson, MT. It was reported to Dispatch that there were believed to be two active gunmen possibly armed with shotguns that were shooting the Lodge from the outside, and another male might be involved as well. It was also reported that some of the suspects may have fled in an unknown vehicle. Beaverhead County Sheriff’s Deputies, Dillon Police Department Officers, Montana Highway Patrol Troopers, and Wisdom Ambulance, responded to Jackson. In total 11 Law Enforcement personnel responded to the scene. Upon arrival on scene, one armed suspect was quickly detained. Law Enforcement continued searching and securing the area attempting to locate the possible second gunman. After securing the area the investigation began. During the investigation it was determined that this incident started after an alcohol fueled fight took place in the Lodge, and the males were asked to leave. The males left and one returned from his cabin with a pistol and began firing at the Lodge. The male would continue firing aimlessly, and wandering around the area until he was apprehended by Law Enforcement. During this time he forced his way into two occupied cabins near the Lodge. After further investigation it was determined that there had only been one shooter and the others in his party were not involved. The male was arrested and booked into the Beaverhead County Detention Center pending multiple felony charges. In total three loaded firearms were recovered, seized, and found to have either been used or had been prepared for use by the suspect. The Beaverhead County Sheriff’s Office would like to give a special thanks to all the Officers who responded in a quick and coordinated manner, and the various agencies who sent resources to aid. We would also like to thank our Dispatch team, including the off shift ones who came in to lend a helping hand. They showed their true skills in fielding multiple 911 calls, coordinating with other agencies, and manning all of the radio traffic in the near four hour event. We could not have done it without you. And last but not least, thank you to the staff of the Jackson Hot Springs Lodge whose quick thinking to lock the doors, and watch the event on live camera footage giving responding Officers a first hand knowledge of the situation, kept lives safe. Not a single person was injured during the incident and everyone returned to their families safely. At this time we believe this was an isolated incident and there is no further threat to the public.
