UMW Rodeo Announces 53rd Annual Montana Western Rodeo Banquet

The University of Montana Western Rodeo Team has announced that the 53rd Annual Montana Western Rodeo Banquet will be held Friday, March 31, 2023. Doors to the event open at 5PM MST. Ticket prices for the event are as follows:

• Single ticket - $60

• Couples ticket - $110

• Reserved table of 8 (rows 1-4) - $500

• Reserved table of 8 (rows 5-8) - $400

The rodeo banquet is the largest fundraiser that the UMW rodeo team hosts each year. Funds raised from the banquet supports the rodeo program by funding student scholarships, providing practice opportunities, defraying travel costs to and from college rodeos and hotel accommodations. It also helps with the cost of putting on the Montana Western college rodeo in the fall.

UMW Rodeo is also excited to announce that 2021 WPRA Announcer of the Year and PRCA's Announcer of the Year top 5 finalist, five years in a row, Will Rasmussen will be announcing this year's Montana Western Rodeo Banquet. Rasmussen grew up in Choteau, Montana, raising horses and cattle on his family's place just outside of town. His family, known to many as the "Rodeoing Rasmussens" has played an integral part to Will's experiences in both the rodeo world and as a professional announcer.

The rodeo program is incredibly thankful for the support the Dillon and surrounding communities continues to provide year in and year out to all rodeo student athletes and to the rodeo program.
