Wholesale Buyers and Public Invited to Shop Local at 2021 Made in Montana Tradeshow

The annual Made in Montana Tradeshow for Food & Gifts returns to Helena on September 10-11 at the Lewis & Clark County Fairgrounds. Hundreds of wholesale buyers from in-state, neighboring states and Canada will attend to shop authentic Montana products exclusively for resale, and the public is invited to preview new, Montana-made products that stores will carry this season.

“Made in Montana businesses have shown true resiliency during the pandemic by increasing online sales and adapting to build stronger relationships with customers in their communities,” said Montana Department of Commerce Director Scott Osterman. “To keep Montana’s economic rebound swift and robust, we must continue to support these Made in Montana businesses by spending money on local goods and products that will directly help strengthen our communities across the state.”

Wholesale buyers will connect with Made in Montana businesses Friday, September 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30p.m. Buyers from across the region attend the tradeshow to stock their store shelves with authentic Montana-made products. Wholesale buyers represent gift shops, lodging properties, restaurants, state parks, museums, bookstores and distributors.

Public Showcase Day is Saturday, September 11. Admission is free and open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Thirty-six new and 90 returning artists, food producers, craftspeople and other entrepreneurs will present Montana-made products at the Tradeshow. The Native American Made in Montana pavilion will feature vendors where shoppers can purchase authentic Native American made products. In addition, Grown in Montana products will be on display and available for purchase. There are exhibitors from 52 different Montana cities and towns represented with the largest contingency from Missoula with 19 exhibitors, Bozeman with 14 and Billings with eight.
