Taylor Rose Appointed CEO of Barrett Hospital & Health Care Effective September 19, 2022

With a long and successful career as a healthcare executive in the West and Pacific Northwest, Taylor Rose has been hired as the new Chief Executive Officer for Barrett Hospital and HealthCare, based in Dillon, Montana, effective September 19, 2022.


“After an extensive selection process with the assistance of HealthTech, we are pleased and proud to welcome Taylor to Barrett and look forward to working closely with him as the new CEO. He has excellent experience in hospital management and looks forward to introducing new services as we continue to grow our hospital and our offerings,” Patti Mitchell, Board President at Barrett

Taylor succeeds Scott Manis, who has served as interim CEO following the departure of long time CEO, Ken Westman last January. Previously, he was the Administrator for Big Sky Medical Center, a member hospital of Bozeman Health. Taylor has a long history of hospital and healthcare leadership, serving at hospitals in Montana, Washington, and Utah.

Mike Lieb, Vice President of HealthTech, also commented that “We look forward to working with Taylor in the coming years and are excited to have him join our team.”



Taylor will attend the HealthTech Leadership Conference September 18-21 in Monterey, California, and will officially be onsite at Barrett beginning on September 26. The conferences’ focus is ‘2022 Building a Pandemic Recovery Plan.

Taylor and his wife, along with their two daughters (plus one on the way), are excited to join the HealthTech and Barrett team and will be headed to Dillon shortly.



Taylor’s hospital has its own news. Barrett Hospital & HealthCare earned the Top Hospital Award Five-Time Recipient of National Honor. Barrett Hospital & HealthCare announces it was again named among the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals by the National Rural Health Association. It will be Barrett Hospital & HealthCare’s fifth time receiving this prestigious award.
