Dillon, MT., May 02, 2022 – Barrett Hospital & HealthCare announces it was again named among the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) by the National Rural Health Association. It will be Barrett Hospital & HealthCare’s fifth time receiving this prestigious award.
“We are honored to be recognized as one of the Top 20 CAHs, which underscores the collective commitment of our staff, providers, leadership, and volunteers to achieving excellence,” said Patti Mitchell, President of the Board of Directors Barrett Hospital & HealthCare. “Ratings such as these are good tools to help us continually improve. The Top 20 recognition is an excellent confirmation that our system of care is strong, and that we continue to provide high value care and service to residents and visitors of southwest Montana.”
Being acknowledged as a Top 20 CAH is an incredible feat achieved by less than 1.5% percent of hospitals nationwide. The National Rural Health Association names the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals from a larger set of Top 100 CAHs, which is evaluated and produced by The Chartis Center for Rural Health. Both the Top 20 and Top 100 performing Critical Access Hospitals are identified through the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEXTM, the most comprehensive and objective assessment of U.S. rural and Critical Access Hospital performance based upon market, value-based and financial measures.
“I thank everyone at Barrett Hospital & HealthCare for their efforts in making the organization a successful one and bringing it to this position. This all happened because they care deeply about this organization and its patients,” said Scott Manis Interim Chief Executive Officer. “It is a great privilege to be part of an extraordinary team at an extraordinary time.”
