High Speed Chase Starts In Idaho, Ends In Montana

A Clark County deputy attempted to make a traffic stop near Dubois, Idaho this afternoon, February 2, 2023. The driver of the vehicle refused to yield, fleeing on I-15 heading north in the southbound lane, which resulted in a wrong way pursuit. The deputy shadowed the vehicle in the north lane with speeds reaching 105 mph. When presented with a window of opportunity, the deputy struck the vehicle, thus putting it out of commission at MM5. No one was injured in this maneuver. With the help of Sheriff's Deputies from Beaverhead County, Idaho State Troopers and the Clark County Deputy, the suspect was taken into custody and booked in the Clark County Jail. The suspect from Oregon had multiple warrants.
