Beaverhead County Board of Health to Meet October 16; Public Health, Hospital and Emergency Services Updates on Agenda

DILLON, Mont. — The Beaverhead County/City Board of Health will hold its next meeting on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners Meeting Room at the Beaverhead County Courthouse in Dillon.

The meeting will include updates on local public health initiatives, Barrett Hospital, emergency services and environmental health matters affecting Beaverhead County residents.

Tobacco Prevention and Community Health Updates

One of the first items on the agenda will be an update from Beaverhead County Tobacco Prevention and the Be The Change 406 Coalition.

The board will also receive a public health update covering matters within the department's responsibilities.

Barrett Hospital and Emergency Services Reports

Representatives will provide an update from Barrett Hospital, followed by a report from Disaster and Emergency Services (DES).

The meeting will also include a Sanitarian Report, providing an opportunity for the board to review environmental health matters.
