Youth Rodeo Brings Mutton Busting, Steer Riding and Plenty of Action to Beaverhead County Fair (Photo Gallery)

DILLON, Mont. — Saturday morning brought plenty of rodeo action to the Beaverhead County Fair as young competitors took center stage for the annual Youth Rodeo.

Southwestern Montana News was there to capture photos from throughout the morning as participants competed in a variety of events in front of family, friends and fairgoers.

As always, one of the biggest crowd favorites was Mutton Busting, with young riders hanging on as long as they could while the crowd cheered them on.

Steer riding also provided plenty of excitement as young cowboys and cowgirls tested their skills in the arena.
