University Of Montana Western Earns Recognition For Supporting Student Wellness

The University of Montana Western has been awarded the Campus Prevention Network (CPN) Seal of Prevention by Vector Solutions, recognizing its commitment to digital prevention programming for student safety, well-being, and inclusion.

Vector Solutions, an industry leader in postsecondary safety and prevention training, presents this seal to institutions demonstrating leadership in prevention education. Their programs cover key issues including sexual assault awareness, alcohol misuse, mental health support, discrimination, and many more topics, reaching over ten million students, staff, and faculty annually across the country.

Recipients of the CPN Seal of PreventionTM prioritize evidence-based prevention education, leading to safer and more inclusive campuses. Research by Vector Solutions shows that institutions with this seal have higher retention and graduation rates.

Sam Anderson, Administrative Associate in the Dean of Students Center, plays a key role in distributing training campus-wide, ensuring students, faculty, and staff are equipped with essential skills and training.
