Southwestern Montana Arts Council will have the Drum Brothers tonight at the Beier Auditorium, at the University of Montana Western campus at 7 pm.
Arlee Montana based Drum Brothers present a high energy performance that celebrates a diverse mix of world instruments and sounds. West African djembe and dunun drums, Egyptian and Irish frame drums, Australian didgeridoo, close harmony vocals, bass and acoustic guitar, saxophone and flute, along with original arrangements and compositions. They have been at the forefront of the American hand drumming movement since it began in the early 1990's.
The Drum Brothels ensemble is is comprised of Matthew and Michael Marsolek, Lawrence Duncan, Tracy Topp, and Ravi Marsolek.
