First responders were called out Monday morning to a two vehicle wreck on I-15 Northbound. The accident happened just north of the Apex exit near MM 76. A spring hailstorm had moved through the area leaving slick spots along the road. A minivan came upon one of these spots, lost control, slid off the road and when they tried to get back onto the highway they hit a passing Hyundai car. Those involved in the accident sustained minor injuries.
Side note as we were on scene we witnessed a vehicle fail to slow down and move over to the left. The vehicle struck several road cones near one of the first responders. Please remember to slow down and move over when you see an accident or a vehicle with it's emergency lights on.
