Sherriff David Wendt Will Be The Guest Speaker At The Rotary Meeting On Wednesday

NEWS RELEASE FROM THE ROTARY CLUB OF DILLON



Sherriff David Wendt will be the guest speaker at the Rotary meeting on Wednesday, January 11th at noon, to talk about plans for the sheriff’s office and current events happening in the department. Visitors are welcome to attend, and anyone interested in learning more about the Rotary organization is invited to be a guest for lunch. The Rotary Club meets in the Guild Hall of St. James Episcopal Church, located at 203 East Glendale Street. Also, the Rotary Club Ice Melt fundraiser continues. Participants guess the date and time when the ice on Logan Pond will thaw stopping the clock. Prizes to be awarded to the individuals who guess the closest date and time to when the thaw occurs are: $500 first place, $250 second place and $100 to the third-place winner.

Tickets may be purchased from Rotary Club members, or by contacting President Matthew Fullerton at matthewfullerton@me.com . Tickets are $2.00 per ticket, or six tickets for $10.00.

Proceeds benefit the Rotary Club scholarship fund and community improvement projects.
