Semi Crash on I-15 Near MM 5 Causes Minor Injuries

On September 9, 2025, at approximately 2:16 a.m., Lima Fire and Ambulance, along with the Beaverhead County Sheriff's Office, responded to a semi-truck crash on I-15 at mile marker 5.
According to reports, the northbound semi-truck went off the east side of the roadway on a slight incline. The driver overcorrected, causing the truck and its trailer to overturn and come to rest on its side. Fortunately, the driver only sustained minor scrapes and bruises and declined medical treatment at the scene.

The vehicle was completely off the road, posing no obstruction to traffic lanes. The trailer, loaded with 33,000 pounds of dog food was destined for Billings.
The Montana Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
