Montana Western Invites Community to New Student Move-In Day

The University of Montana Western’s Office of Residence Life would like to invite the community of Dillon to volunteer and help kick off Orientation Weekend by helping new incoming students move into the residence halls on Friday, August 19. Shifts are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

If you are interested in volunteering for Move-In Day, please visit https://www.umwestern.edu/orientation/ and fill out the “Montana Western Moving Company Sign Up Form” to schedule a designated shift. All volunteers will receive a free Montana Western t-shirt and are invited to attend the New Student Welcome Extravaganza and BBQ on August 19 from 5-7 p.m. on the Mathews Hall lawn.

Orientation will continue throughout the weekend with a series of events designed to familiarize new students with the Montana Western and Dillon community. Events include sessions about the Experience One program, an inspirational speaker, football scrimmage, community scavenger hunt, cornhole tournament, and much more.
