Jonathan Harrison Claims 800m Conference Title

The Bulldog track team competed at the Frontier Conference Meet at Memorial Stadium in Great Falls the past two days.



Competition kicked off with Morgan Baseley making her debut in the 10,000m and placing sixth as she prepares for the half-marathon at the NAIA National Meet. Eireann O'Conner continued her streak of incredible performances as she placed second in the 1500m, running a 4:45.56 and with the altitude adjustment, she will meet the NAIA national standard.


Joe Lamb got the day started on the men's side by finishing third in the 1500m and nearly matching his PR with a time of 4:11.07. He has achieved three straight All-Conference awards at Frontier Meets. Jonathan Harrison claimed the title in the 800m with a new PR of 1:54.78 and if that was not enough, he placed second in the 400m with a PR of 49.94.



Liz Varner and Joe Lamb running the 5000m, both placed sixth in their respective races. The day concluded with the 4x400 relays, the women placed fourth and the men placed fifth.


The team will aim to recover and continue to train before they head to Missoula to compete in the Tom Gage Classic on May 7th.
