Intoxicated Man Shoots At Local Business On Montana Street

Press release from Dillon Police department.

On October 30, 2022, at 0134 hours, Dillon Police Department Officers, Beaverhead County Sheriff Deputy, and Montana Highway Patrol Trooper responded to the Sundowner Motel where there was a report of three gunshots heard. Upon arriving on scene a male, identified as Robert Zawlocki age 26, was taken into custody without incident. The fired rounds have been recovered and did not appear to have injured anyone. We are grateful that no one was injured in this matter. The intended target is unknown at this time. Zawlocki (at the time of this release) is being held on No Bond and has been charged with the following:

• Criminal Endangerment, 45-5-207 MCA, A Felony

• Criminal Mischief, 45-6-101 MCA, A Felony

• Carrying a Concealed Weapon While Under Influence, 45-8-327 MCA, A Misdemeanor

• Obstructing Peace Officer or Other Public Servant, 45-7-302 MCA, A Misdemeanor
