Montana Governor Greg Gianforte declared Montana as a statewide wildland fire emergency in a Facebook Post.
The post reads: Facing critical fire conditions that threaten our communities, first responders, and way of life, I today declared a statewide wildland fire emergency in Montana to ensure our first responders have the tools they need to safely and aggressively respond to wildfires.
To Montanans and visitors to our beautiful state - please follow local fire restrictions, prepare your homes and communities for wildfire, and recreate and work safely. Our dedicated, courageous first responders are depending on us all.
