Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is seeking interested people form the Butte and Anaconda areas to participate in a small group that will focus on shooting ranges in these communities. The 2021 Legislature allocated money for shooting ranges owned or leased by the FWP. The group will explore and identify potential options for one or more shooting ranges to serve both communities.
Once assembled, this small group will meet for up to a year on a schedule determined by the group. FWP will help facilitate these meetings.
Individuals submitting letters of interest to serve on this group should state their interest in being a member of this group and any affiliations they might represent in this effort. Letters of interest should be mailed to Jessica Snyder, PO Box 200701, Helena MT 59620-0701 or emailed to jesssnyder@mt.gov by July 30, 2021.
