Frontier Football Coaches Pick Preseason Fall Favorites

Eastern Oregon University is the preseason favorite to win the 2021 Frontier Conference fall football championship in a poll of the league’s head football coaches.



Eastern Oregon, Carroll College and College of Idaho tied for the conference championship in the 2020-21 five-team, four-game spring Covid season. College of Idaho won the 2019 season title.


College of Idaho and Montana Western tied for second in the poll followed by Carroll College, Southern Oregon University, Montana Tech, Rocky Mountain College and MSU- Northern.



Eastern Oregon received three-first place votes, Montana Tech and College of Idaho each received two-first place votes and Montana Western received the remaining first place

vote.



Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own teams. First place was worth seven

points, second place worth six points, third place worth five points, fourth place worth

four points, fifth place worth three points, sixth place worth two points and seventh place

worth one point.
