Fire Department Responds To Field Fire On Dancing Winds Road

The Dillon Volunteer Fire Department was called out Friday afternoon to Dancing Wind Lane behind Sweetwater Estates on reports of a fire.

A local; burning pile of debris had the fire get away from them and spread to nearby fields. With multiple tankers from the Fire Department and help from the DNRC the fire was able to be contained and extinguished quickly. A total of 41 acres were burned.
