Fire Crews Quickly Contain Grass Fire Near Grant

GRANT — Monday afternoon Beaverhead Fire District #2 crews were called out to a grass and shrub fire along Highway 324 past Grant.

Firefighters were able to quickly contain the blaze at approximately one acre, preventing further spread and additional damage to the surrounding area.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
