Fatal Motorcycle Crash On I-90W Near Mile Marker 233

On Friday, May 30th, a tragic motorcycle accident occurred on Interstate 90 West near mile marker 233, resulting in the death of a motorcycle rider.

According to preliminary reports, a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was attempting to pass a Honda motorcycle while negotiating a right-hand curve in the left lane. The motorcycle, driven by a 67-year-old male from Anaconda, Montana, failed to stay in his lane and crossed into the lane occupied by the Toyota.

The driver of the Toyota attempted to brake and swerve to avoid the collision but was unable to prevent contact. The impact caused the motorcycle to roll over, and the rider was struck by the vehicle.

Emergency responders arrived on the scene and transported the rider to the hospital, but sadly, he succumbed to his injuries.
