Failure To Yield Leads To High Speed Pursuit

On August 22, 2022, at approximately 1721, a Montana Highway Patrol Trooper initiated a traffic stop on the north interchange of I-15 at Montana Street on a dark blue Ford pickup bearing an Idaho plate. The trucked ran the stop light at the interchange of Ramshorn Street and Montana Street headed into the Ibey Ville neighborhood, of Dillon. The truck failed to stop while the Troopers lights and sirens were activated, initiating the pursuit.

The suspect hit speeds at 100 MPH on I-15 southbound, at this time Beaverhead County Deputies & Dillon Police Officers responded to assist. The suspect is in custody pending charges from Montana Highway Patrol.
