Dillon Volunteer Fire Department responded to 11 calls during the month of August 2021.

• 08-02 I-15 @ Birch Ck Rd MVA

• 08-05 Adams Ln Structure fire

• 08-06 Ramshorn St CO call

• 08-11 Kentucky Ave Gas leak

• 08-12 S Idaho St CO call

• 08-14 Southwind Ln Tractor / Baler fire

• 08-16 I-15 MM 64 MVA CANCELLED

• 08-21 N Montana St Smoke alarm

• 08-29 Swenson Way Smoke (false alarm)

• 08-30 Hwy 278 MM 12-1/2 MVA (car vs elk)

The month of August we trained on various types of nozzles as well as pumping structure

engines. We were also fortunate enough to train with Billings Air Ambulance on their

new helicopter & its tools & capabilities. Many members have also helped out on the

Alder Creek fire in Wise River staffing one of our Water Tenders in the fire suppression

efforts on that incident.
