Dillon Library’s “9 to 5” Pie Sale Serves Up Support for Local Programs

DILLON, Mont. — Pie, coffee and conversation will fill the Dillon Public Library on Friday, Sept. 25, during a Dolly Parton-themed “9 to 5” pie sale supporting library programming.

Organized by Friends of the Library and Dillon Public Library, the event is planned for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., although organizers expect it could end earlier if pies sell out.

Pie will cost $5 per slice or $25 for a whole pie, with coffee or bottled water included.

Community members are invited to donate pies, which will be entered in a pie contest. Visitors can purchase a slice, vote for their favorite and spend time visiting at the library.

Organizers are also calling Sept. 25 “Give Like Dolly Day,” recognizing Dolly Parton and the impact of her Imagination Library on families.

Proceeds will go to Friends of the Library to support library programming.
