Dillon Beavers Softball Fall To Frenchtown Broncs (Photo Gallery)

DILLON, MT – The Dillon Beavers Varsity team faced a tough match on Friday, losing to the 2025 Frenchtown High School Varsity Broncs with a final score of 10-1.

Frenchtown made a significant impact in the top of the sixth inning, capitalizing on errors and a single by Makenzie Brush to score five runs. The Broncs continued to dominate in the seventh inning with five more runs, highlighted by a two-run homer from Ryan Lucier.

Adyson Creighton started in the circle for Dillon, pitching six innings and allowing four hits and seven runs (three earned), while striking out nine and walking three. Frenchtown's Ryan Lucier pitched a strong game, giving up five hits and one run over seven innings, with 16 strikeouts and five walks.

Kylie Konen led Dillon with two hits out of four at-bats. Kinzy Creighton showcased speed on the bases, stealing two of the team's six overall stolen bases. Dillon players demonstrated patience at the plate, earning five walks during the game.

For Frenchtown, Lucier and Brush made key contributions, with Lucier driving in two runs and Brush leading in hits. Delanie Magnuson was disciplined at the plate, securing two walks, and the team collectively showed strong fielding with no errors made. Aspen Courtnet was pivotal in defense, making 17 plays.

The Dillon Beavers are set to travel to face the Stevensville Varsity Yellowjackets for their next game on Saturday.
