D.V.F.D. Responds To Structure Fire Off Lakner Lane

A heavy black cloud of smoke could be seen filling the skies of Dillon on Tuesday afternoon. The cause of the smoke was a detached building on Lakner Lane. The building was completely engulfed in flames when first responders arrived. Firefighters are working on keeping the fire contained to the one building. Traffic on Lakner is being diverted down Webster Lane please avoid the area. This is a developing story and we will have more information when it becomes available.

Update: The main cause of the fire has not been determined, the building was a complete loss.
