D.V.F.D. Responds To Late Afternoon House Fire

The Dillon Volunteer Fire Department was called out late Monday afternoon for a house fire. The house on the 400 block of Kentucky Street caught fire on the back exterior wall. No one was home at the time. Quick thinking of neighbors who noticed smoke and reported it along with a fast response from the fire department contained it to this area. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
