The game started early Saturday afternoon at Ray Lynch Park as baseball fans hoped an early start would help beat the rain. The Dillon Cubs came out of the second inning with a 5 to 0 lead over the Mariners as the game progressed, they were unable to get the win as the Mariners held the Cubs at 5 and went on to score 7 taking a 7 to 5 win over the Cubs.
Game two just wasn't in the books as lightning and rain delayed the game before they called it due to weather conditions.
