City Of Dillon Chief Of Police To Retire

Dillon's Chief of Police Donny Guiberson will be retiring at the end of the month. After 25 1/2 years as a police officer, assistant Chief of Police, and now Chief of Police, his last day will be April 30th. Donny will not enjoy retirement to the fullest as he has taken a job with the Montana Department of Justice as a Criminal Investigator.

SWMT News and The Dillonite want to wish Donny the best of luck with his retirement and pursuit of his new job. If we at SWMT News have ever had questions regarding an incident, he has always gotten back to us in a timely manner. We have watched him request pay raises with the City Council for the officers as well as budget increases for items the police have needed to do their job both effectively and efficiently.

We will have more information on his replacement as it becomes available.
