Cameron, Montana- Three people were on board a private 4-seater Cessna plane when the pilot was forced to make an emergency landing on US Highway 287 in Cameron.
According to Jennifer Martens with Madison County Department of Emergency Services, responders were called to an emergency plane landing at about 9 a.m. near mile marker 11 on US Highway 287 near the Madison Valley Rural Fire Department Station #2.
Responders found a private Cessna aircraft in the fire department parking lot. After landing the pilot was able to dodge powerlines and coast into the parking lot. The aircraft was occupied by a pilot and two passengers. All three occupants were uninjured. They are traveling from West Yellowstone to Washington.
An investigation is currently being conducted.
