MISSOULA, Mont. – The Montana Western track & field team continued to show improvement this weekend with another impressive six personal bests set at the Montana Open.

"We had some strong performances this meet which is exciting as we had into conference next week. Justene was able to place 6th out of our conference schools in steeplechase. Additionally, Brody was able to drop five seconds off his 1500m personal record which was exciting to see," Head Coach Taylor Grove said. "Gracie and Wade were both able to improve their times in the 100m and 110m hurdles. Ruby was able to run a 5k personal record and Olivia was right near hers as well. Justin keeps improving week to week, being able to grab a personal record in the discus again. I think we are in a good spot going to the conference meet next week."
