DILLON, Mont. — The University of Montana Western athletics department is partnering with Barrett Hospital & HealthCare to host Bulldogs Stand Up to Cancer during the home football game Saturday, Nov. 1, at Bulldog Stadium. The initiative is designed to honor those who are battling cancer, those who have beaten it, and those remembered with love.
Fans attending the game will be invited to write the name of loved ones affected by cancer on a special tribute card. A table will be located inside the stadium in the Pioneer Federal Pavilion for fans to fill out their cards prior to kickoff.
At the two-minute warning of the first half, everyone in attendance will be asked to stand and hold their cards high, joining together in a powerful moment of recognition, hope and support.
The collaboration reflects the shared commitment of Montana Western Athletics and Barrett Hospital & HealthCare to strengthen community well-being and promote compassion across Beaverhead County.
Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. as the Bulldogs take on Eastern Oregon.
