This past weekend, seven Bulldog athletes competed this weekend in Kalispell, Mont. at the Northern Rodeo Association (NRA) finals. The Northern Rodeo Association is the premier rodeo organization in the Northwest, providing high quality rodeo events. It is the largest rodeo association in the U.S. and this season there were 31 events leading up to the NRA Rodeo Finals. Trevor Kay won the Bareback Riding event over the weekend after winning two of the three rounds and winning the average with a score of 255. Below are the results from the event and the overall results from the NRA 2022 season.
NRA Finals Rodeo 2022
Trevor Kay came in first overall in the Bareback with an overall score of 255.
Mikayla Witter came in second overall in Breakaway Roping with a 27.6.
Matt Goings came in third overall in Team Roping (Header) with a 29.4.
Luke Murphy came in fourth overall in Team Roping (Heeler) with a 16.4/2.
Garrett Yeager came in fifth in the Steer Wrestling with an overall score of 11.5/2.
Carson Klingler came in sixth overall in the Saddle Bronc with an overall of 216.
Clayton Haverland did not score in the event, but competed in the Bull Riding.
2022 NRA Season Final Placings
Trevor Kay placed first overall in Bareback on the season.
Mikayla Witter came in second overall for the season in Breakaway Roping.
Carson Klingler came in second overall in Saddle Bronc Riding.
Luke Murphy came in third overall in Team Roping (Heeler).
Garrett Yeager placed third overall in Steer Wrestling.
Matt Goings came in fourth overall in Team Roping (Header).
Carson Klingler came in seventh overall for All-Around Cowboy.
Clayton Haverland came in eighth overall in Bull Riding on the season.
Jhet Murphy placed 12th overall in Steer Wrestling for the season.
Trevor Kay also received the Rookie of the Year buckle in Bareback and Garrett Yeager received the Rookie of the Year buckle in Steer Wrestling. To view the full results, click here.
