(UMW press release) The Montana Western Bulldogs (17-12, 6-8) took down the MSU-Northern Lights (18-11, 6-8) on the road, 77-72.
The Bulldogs shot 60 percent from the field in the first half; MSU-Northern shot 41 percent. Montana Western led 35-31 at the half.
Montana Western led most of the second half, but the Lights cut the Bulldogs' lead to three with under two minutes left in play. The Lights struggled to get a shot to fall, and with the Bulldogs in the double bonus, the Lights couldn't catch up.
