Boys JV Baseball Follow In Varsity's Footsteps With A Win Over The Vigilantes

Beaverhead County Junior Varsity Beavers defeated East Helena Junior Varsity Vigilantes 3-2 on Wednesday thanks to a walk-off.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Jerry Haro-Mora struck out three, while East Helena Junior Varsity Vigilantes pitchers sat down nine.


Beaverhead County Junior Varsity Beavers evened things up at two in the bottom of the fifth inning when Kanin Engelhardt grounded out, scoring one run.

Haro-Mora was on the mound for Beaverhead County Junior Varsity Beavers. The righty allowed three hits and two runs over six innings, striking out three and walking one.

Xavier Nunn was on the hill for East Helena Junior Varsity Vigilantes. The righthander allowed two hits and two runs over four and a third innings, striking out seven. Tucker Petty threw one and one-third innings out of the bullpen.


Spencer Sitton led Beaverhead County Junior Varsity Beavers with two hits in three at bats.

Nunn went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead East Helena Junior Varsity Vigilantes in hits.
