Body Found South of Dillon

On Sunday, March 22 at around 5:00 pm the Beaverhead County Sheriff's Office received a report that an employee of a local ranch had found a human body in a field south of the city limits of Dillon.  A deputy responded and discovered the body of an adult male lying in the field.  The Beaverhead County Coroner, County Attorney and Sheriff responded to the scene.  The body has been taken to the Crime Lab in Missoula for autopsy.  Release of the identity of the man is being withheld pending positive identification and notification of next of kin.  There are no signs of foul play, and there is no threat to the community regarding this incident.
