Beavers Dominate Over The Stevensville Yellowjackets (Photo Gallery)

The Dillon Beavers took on the Stevensville Yellowjackets Saturday May 4 at Ray Lynch Park. The Beavers defeated the Yellowjackets 11 to 3.

 

The Beavers would get on the board first by collecting a run from an error in the first inning.

 



The Beavers would continue to add points on the board in the second after Andrew Bartlome hit a sacrifice fly, and Kale Konen singled, each scoring one run.

 

Jase Alvarez would triple in the third inning making the score 5 to 1.

 

The Beavers would go on to score five runs in five hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Andrew Bartlome doubled, scoring two runs, Kale Konen doubled, scoring one run, Cohen Hartman singled, scoring one run, and Will Hansen drew a walk, scoring one run.

 



Andrew Bartlome earned the win for the Beavers. The right-handed pitcher surrendered five hits and three runs over six innings, striking out six and walking two.

 

The Beavers piled up sixteen hits in the game. Cohen Hartman, Andrew Bartlome, and Marcus Lagunas each collected three hits for the Beavers. Kale Konen collected two hits in five at bats. The Beavers collected five stolen bases.

 

The Beavers will play at home on Tuesday, May 7 against the Belgrade Panthers.
