Hartman hit a home run to left field in the third inning, scoring three runs, and he also walked in the second inning to bring another run across the plate.
The Beavers began the game strong, taking the lead in the bottom of the first inning. After Carter Anderson induced Marcus Lagunas to hit into a fielder's choice, one run scored. Taylor Handlos then tripled, bringing in three additional runs to put Beaverhead County ahead.
In the second inning, the Beavers added another run after Hartman walked.

The third inning proved particularly fruitful for the Beavers, who scored six runs on four hits. The Beavers continued their scoring spree in the fourth inning, adding five runs despite only registering one hit. Tackett was struck by a pitch, driving in one run, while Bartlome singled, scoring two runs. Trenton Moreni drew a walk for another run, and an error allowed for an additional run to cross the plate.
