Beaverhead County Beavers Secure Win Against Butte Central Maroons, 8-3 (Photo Gallery)

DILLON, MT – The Beaverhead County Varsity Beavers secured an impressive victory against the Butte Central Maroons, winning 8-3 on Thursday. Andrew Bartlome led the offensive charge with a standout performance, collecting three hits in three at-bats, including a solo home run to right field in the first inning.
The Maroons initially took the lead in the first inning thanks to a wild pitch that allowed a run to score. However, the Beavers quickly responded in the bottom of the inning with Bartlome's homer and a double by Cohen Hartman, each contributing a run to take the lead.
The Beavers added another run in the second inning, with Bartlome singling to right field, making it 3-1. Butte Central tied the game in the third inning with a single by Colt Hassler and a walk by Tony Stajcar.

The Beavers regained control in the bottom of the third when Marcus Lagunas grounded out to score a run, followed by a single from Jase Alvarez to extend their lead to 5-3.
Kanin Englehardt earned the win for the Beavers, allowing no hits or runs over one inning, with Will Hansen providing relief with three innings of scoreless pitching. The starting pitcher, Bartlome, allowed two hits and three runs over three innings, striking out four.
Lagunas led the RBI count with three, while Trenton Moreni and Hartman showcased speed on the bases, each stealing multiple bases. The team collectively stole eight bases and turned two double plays during the game.
For the Maroons, Jack Nagle and Colt Hassler each recorded a hit. Hassler and Stajcar drove in a run apiece, with the team securing six walks and turning one double play.
