BCHS Graduate and Author Joe Drivdahl to Hold Book Signing at The Bookstore

DILLON, Mont. — The Bookstore in downtown Dillon will welcome 1976 Beaverhead County High School graduate Joe Drivdahl for a special book signing on Friday, July 17, from 4 to 6 p.m. The event is part of the BCHS Class of 1976's 50th class reunion festivities.
Drivdahl, a retired community college instructor, novelist, and musician, will be signing copies of his latest novel, Expiration Date: A MAL's Pals Novel, along with several of his previous works.
Set in Sheridan, Wyoming, Expiration Date is a supernatural thriller that follows Dr. Mavis Maldonado, a respected community college librarian whose orderly life is turned upside down after she develops the unsettling ability to hear the exact dates of people's impending deaths. As she grapples with the burden of this knowledge, the novel explores questions of fate, morality, guilt, and whether knowing the future is a gift—or a curse.

In addition to Expiration Date, Drivdahl is the author of:
Murder in the West Bottoms
Frank and Charlie
Sunset in Montana
Bitterroot Moon
Drivdahl earned a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education with a major in English Literature and later completed a Master of Business Administration. While he began his career teaching at the high school level, he spent most of his professional career as an instructor at a community college in eastern Montana. He and his wife have four adult children.
The public is invited to attend the signing, meet the author, and have books personally signed.
Anyone with questions or wishing to reserve copies of Drivdahl's books can contact The Bookstore at 406-683-6807.
