37 BCHS FFA members competed in the Forestry, Livestock Judging, and Soils & Range contests. Over 500 students representing 33 FFA chapters from across Montana were in attendance at this year's event. All of our BCHS teams placed very well and qualified to compete at State FFA Convention in March. Results are as follows:
Junior Livestock Evaluation: 6th place overall, 2nd among SW District FFA chapters. Top individuals were Porter Hopman (6th individual), Taylor Yecny, Asher Burch, and Scarlett Garrison.
Senior Livestock Evaluation: 3rd place overall, 2nd place among SW District FFA chapters. Top individuals were Gavin Garrison (3rd individual), Katie Johnson, Savanna Freitas, and Clinton Ford.
Forestry: 3rd place overall, 1st place among SW District FFA chapters. Top individuals were Trapper Doering (6th place individual), Ryleigh Plovanic (8th place individual), Andy Egan (9th place individual), and Kyle Jones. Soils & Range: 2nd place overall & 2nd in the SW FFA District. Top individuals were Dillon Hansen (2nd place individual), Faye Holland (3rd place individual), Tel Holland (6th place individual), and Olivia Kailey.
