Downtown Dillon was filled with laughter and a bit of spooky fun Thursday night as the annual Witches Ride took to the streets. The event, held each year on Halloween Eve, has become a beloved community tradition.

Witches, warlocks, ghouls, and goblins gathered at Depot Park to begin the evening’s festivities, forming a circle around the bubbling cauldron as the witches read from their “ancient scrolls.” After a round of spirited cackles, the group mounted their bikes and rode through downtown Dillon, spreading Halloween cheer with every turn of the pedals.
Adding a touch of elegance this year, a few witches opted to trade in their broomsticks for a horse-drawn carriage, delighting spectators along the route.
The Witches Ride once again proved to be a charming and whimsical way for the community to celebrate the Halloween season.
