Frontier Conference Commissioner Kent Paulson released the 2021-22 Academic All-Conference Volleyball team today. To be eligible for the team, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in standing and maintain a 3.25 GPA. The University of Providence led the Frontier with 13 student-athletes selected.
Ten Montana Western volleyball players landed spots on the academic all-conference team--Katie Casagrande, KayLee Kopp, Rylee Nickodemus, Emmah Peterson, Abbey Schwager, Cady Siemion, Morgan Stenger, Peyton Vogl, Ramyia Wendt, and Kaitlyn White.
"I am extremely proud of how this team did in the classroom and what they were able to accomplish," head coach Katie Lovett said.
"Being a collegiate athlete is tough with learning how to balance school and volleyball, but having so many girls step up to that challenge is a great thing to see.
Commitment and dedication are things we talk about a lot in our program and these athletes continue to raise the bar on everything we do."
