Lady Beavers Softball Take A Sting From The Yellowjackets With A 20 To 7 Loss

The Lady Beavers watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 20-7 loss to Stevensville Yellowjackets on Tuesday. Stevensville scored on an error during Serenity Scott's at bat, a home run by Jaden Fisher, a groundout by Emilee Ross, a passed ball during Morgan Yeager's at bat, a single by Jaidan Oyler, a single by Scott, and a home run by Sophie Berning in the first inning.

The Lady Beavs collected five hits and the Yellowjackets had eight in the high-scoring affair.

The Yellowjackets opened up scoring in the first inning. An error scored one run for the Yellowjackets.

The Lady Beavs put up three runs in the second inning. Emily Brevig and Katey Vezina each had RBIs in the frame.

Yeager was on the rubber for the Yellowjackets.

Tymber Barnes started the game for Lady Beavs. The righthander lasted one and one-third innings, allowing five hits and 14 runs. Vezina threw three and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

The Yellowjackets mashed two home runs on the day. Fisher had a four bagger in the first inning. Berning went yard in the first inning.

The Lady Beavs racked up five hits. Brevig and Tyler Gibson each collected multiple hits for Dillon. Gibson and Brevig each managed two hits to lead The Beavers.

Scott led the Yellowjackets with two hits in four at bats.
