Frontier Men’s Basketball Coaches Pick Western To Finish Third In Conference Play

In a preseason poll of Frontier Conference men's basketball coaches, Carroll College is the pick to win the 2022-2023 league title with the Bulldogs coming in just behind Montana Tech in third overall, claiming 17 votes.

The University of Montana Western men's basketball team is on their way to starting the 2022-23 season after a third-place finish in Frontier conference play last season. The Bulldogs will start their season with a road stand in California where they will face Cal-Maritime and Menlo College. After going 18-12 on their regular season, the Bulldogs lost in the semifinals of the Frontier Conference tournament to Montana Tech by only two points.

Results below: First place votes in parenthesis. Votes were five points for first, four points for second, three points for third, two points for fourth and one point for fifth. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team.
