Updated: Jun 14

Dillon was the place to be on Saturday with the Montana Youth Challenge holding graduation ceremonies, Big Hole River Retreat was hosting a car show and swap meet, the White Hat Coalition was host to the 25th annual car show, and the Dillon Community Affairs Committee hosted their first Duck Race.

The Duck Race and Car Show were held at the Old Depot Park. With around 20 participants showcasing their vehicles from newer cars, to classics, and a few off-road built vehicles there was a little of everything to keep one looking.

Around 2:30 people lined the banks of Blacktail creek as they released the ducks. People cheered as they hoped their duck would be one to come into first. Organizers ran three heats of races to get the top ducks, after the third heat they ran the final race. The first three ducks in got 1st prize $200 JB Anderson, 2nd $100 Knox Peacock, and 3rd $50 Andrus Hotel.
