Tuesday February 6, 2023 the Dillon Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call of a chimney fire on South Arizona street. The quick response allowed the fire fighters to knock out the flames with a fire extinguisher and stop the fire from spreading. All three trucks were on scene including the ladder truck that was used to access the top of the roof and help keep the fire contained inside the chimney and damage minimal.
